This sideboard is a family heirloom. To begin restoration, I first reglued the doors. The carvings on the doors were incomplete, so I made carvings to replace the missing sections. I then relaminated the drawer fronts and removed the finish. Next I dyed and stained the sideboard. Finally, I applied glaze between several layers of the top coats of lacquer, and replaced the hardware and mirror.
