This gateleg table was water damaged and stained. First I completely stripped the finish from the entire table. Next I dyed the table to establish a base color between the different species of wood. I then stained the table to the color that the customer requested. Next I sprayed multiple coats of lacquer to build up the finish. The last coat of lacquer was satin to achieve the requested level of sheen. This table received an off-the-gun finish as opposed to a rubbed satin finish.
