This side table arrived as a work in progress - the
owner had started the process but had not finished it. The
table top had black rings and sections of lifting veneer.
I bleached the black rings and reattached the veneer with hot hide glue.
The foot section of one of the legs was missing so I rebuilt it. I dyed and sealed the table. Next I applied multiple layers of lacquer using
glaze between the first several coats. The
finish work was completed when I rubbed out the finish on the top.
